The Tapes Archive Story

I had just started at Southwest and was introduced to our Campus Connect tradition coming up a few weeks. I wanted to embrace the culture and wanted to use my 3d printer to create some sort of tchotchkes for the event.

I ping ponged through some ideas, but it's hard to get curves done well with a 3d printer. So doing a plane or a heart was going to be tough.

My brilliant wife suggested that since our team was named after the Guardians of the Galaxy, I should make tapes! It was perfect, out of date technology for a technology org.

But I realized it opened up a lot of options for creative expressions that I hope this archive will demonstrate. So see the inspiration for each design for the tapes you have and see which ones you are missing.
