Vol VI: Fall 2025 - Miles for Tradition
(November 10-14) Thanksgiving is full of traditions and often times we travel for it.
I love Thanksgiving for lots of reasons. The food, the time with family, the break from work, staring agog at the crazy people running a 10k in the cold, and the start of the holiday season.
The American Pastoral Thanksgiving artistic scene is usually a farm, with a red truck full of pumpkins. I wanted to show a bit more modern approach. A roadtrip or flight to a suburban neighborhood full of festive leaves. I had just moved to Tennessee and it was amaazing to see the drastic color changes coming from Texas.
The title ended up having a double meaning. We ended up cancelling remote folks travelling due to the Government shutdown. So instead of the status quo, a few of us drove from TN to TX to send off our manager who was moving to another team and represent the remote folk. It was a great road trip and ended up adding another layer to our tape.
